Microsoft HoloLens offers never before virtual experience
While the first ever self-contained holographic computer is hinted to be retailed from this upcoming November. Tech lovers can avail Microsoft HoloLens as pre-order from now on only. The superlative device is available for pre-order purchase on Microsoft's Online Store.
The premium gadget has already started pre-order selling in regions of Australia. As per insights, the tech giant has also planned to bring on this amazing device in other countries soon. According to The Verge, Microsoft has already decided to market the HoloLens in major countries like the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, and New Zealand and alongside Australia, the pre-order can be placed from these countries as well. The availability in these countries is speculated to begin from the next month.However, though it is available for pre-order online, but the company has made it clear that the device would be shipped to their destinations, not before this upcoming November.
According to a report by International Business Times, the device originally made its debut in January 21st, 2015. It was first unveiled in the markets of United States on March 30 with a price tag of $3000. However, the latest price range of the device in different countries have also been specified. The developers' edition has been set at $4369 in Australia, whereas the high-end version would cost around $7,269. The price set for the device in the regions of Germany, France, and Ireland is $3,633. In the United Kingdom, it will cost around $3,335 and in New Zealand $5,527.
Regarding the features and specs associated with this incredible masterpiece of Microsoft, Alex Kipman, technical fellow at Windows and Devices Group stated: "Since our January 2015 debut, our team has been hard at work empowering developers and organizations to bring the vision of mixed reality to life. It's been fascinating to see what has been created by our commercial partners and the team remains in awe of the way developers are using HoloLens. Over 80 exclusive mixed reality apps are now available in the Windows Store."
Further hints add that the users of Windows 10 would be able to experience the true spirit virtual reality using Microsoft HoloLens from this upcoming year. A Windows 10 update indicated to be revealed in 2017 will enable computers to run the Windows Holographic Shell, which is said to be the one and the only platform made by Microsoft meant for virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality.
