LG V20 vs. Google Pixel: Pros & cons of Android Nougat OS-based smartphones
LG V20 and Google Pixel have been both released this month. So, here is a run-down of the pros and cons between the two Androied Nougat OS-based smartphones.
The LG V20 has the slight larger dimension of 159.70 cm x 78.10 cm while Pixel has a measurement of 143.80 x 69.5 cm. It also has better resolution (1440x2560) compared to Pixel (1080x1920)]. It boasts a removable battery backup of V20 which is 3200mAh which is far way better compared to Google Pixel non-removable battery of 2770mAh.
Now if compared according to display quality, LG V20 has the screen size of 5.7-inch IPS capacitive display with 513 PPI (pixel per inch) while Pixel has 5-inch AMOLED screen with 441 PPI.
In terms of the hardware department, both pixel and V20 is operated with 1.6GHz quad-core processor while Chipset used by pixel is QUALCOMM snapdragon 821 with better clock speed and frequency of 2.4 GHz while V20 used lower clock (2.2 GHz) snapdragon 820 which may be slight difference in performance. But this lower clock speed give more battery back up by less power consumption, While both of them are using Adreno 530 GPU.
As for the storage, there is a massive drawback in Google Pixel. It has no expandable memory space while both have 4GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. But only V20 has expandable memory up to 256 GB.
Now both Pixel and v20 have 12.3 megapixel and 16-megapixel rear cameras with flash respectively. They also have same 8 and 5-megapixel front cameras without flash. But Pixel and V20 have two different Nougat version, android 7.1 and 7.0 respectivel.
Both of them are 3G and 4G LTE supported single sim device and having different connectivity like Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and more. LG V20 doesn't have infrared connectivity. But both have different sensors like a fingerprint, compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope while V20 doesn't have ambient light sensor and barometer.
