Kylo Ren, not Han Solo, Princess Leia's 'true son'? Star Wars VIII reveals the truth
Patricide is not a surprise for viewers of "Star Wars" saga, like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader the father-son team up is not so popular in the Galactic Empire and may have hinted to a family tree trouble. Although the story in itself should be good vs evil and the good to win over the evil seems to take away all moral issues but still hopeful fans tries to find justice to what had happened to Han Solo in Episode 7. And since Solo is one essential character in "Star Wars" saga, there has been speculations that maybe, Ben Solo who turned to be Kylo Ren is not the 'true son' and has planned the dreadful scheme all along.
The theory that it was long been planned was recently reported by Movie Web wherein director J.J Adams was caught by saying that "People have asked me if I think that Kylo Ren was just playing with him the whole time, that he meant to kill him from the beginning." If that is the case then it is already planned by Kylo Ren to kill Han Solo because he isn't his son. Makes sense though that in a scene wherein Princess Leia, Han Solo and Ben Solo were talking, the phrase "bring our son home" would pop and it just mind boggles the viewers, more of a thinking-in-between-the-line concept.
Critics have not also forgiven Episode VII for killing Han Solo and some have vented out their feelings in Reddit. The Week recently reported a blogger expressing his disappointment and hypothesized that Kylo Ren is not their son but a nephew or distant relative. User LemmyGhost even exclaimed that Ben Solo was "never once it is specifically said that Kylo is Han and Leia's son."
Then the 'true son' will show up and their family tree is not endangered anymore. At least that's how other fans would like to think of, but not all agrees with these theories. Rest assured that their quest for answers will be revealed in December 2017 for Star Wars 8.
