Oscar Nominees Inspire Nail Polish Collection
Fashion has always been a major part of the Oscars, so the nail line Julep is adding some new colors to the red carpet.
Julep's seven new hues are inspired by six actresses and a guy named Oscar. Not surprisingly, Oscar is honored with a glittery gold shade.
Of the six other colors, three pay tribute to "Best Actress" nominees Meryl Streep, Glenn Close and Viola Davis. No word on why Michelle Williams and Rooney Mara got left out of the polish collection. Julep also developed colors for actresses Marisa Tomei, Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Olsen, who aren't among this year's nominees.
Streep's color is described as "the perfect neutral, sophisticated gray creme," while Close's shade is "bold berry red shimmer" and Davis inspired the "deepest purple creme."
We wonder if the actresses will wear their colors to the big show.
