Taylor Swift sang her own version of Calvin Harris " This is What You Came For " during her latest gig
Taylor Swift made her fans in awe last Saturday when she performed the song "This is What You Came For" at the Circus of the Americas race track. Based on the reports of TIME, during the concert, the singer was sitting on the piano and she played the tune, which she co-wrote with ex-beau Calvin Harris under a pseudonym, for the audience.
According to her, she never played the song live before but if the crowd knows the song maybe they could sing-along and she can tell what it feels like when the song is sung back to her.
The hit song became a trending track last summer, and Swift co-wrote it with Rihanna and Harris. Their romantic relationship, which started way back 2015, lasted for 15 months. However, it ended badly for both of them, with Swift immediately entering in a short-term relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston.
Her concert on the race track was the only concert the beautiful songstress will have for 2016. Many of her fans were there to support her and watch her perform.
According to a report by CBSNews, the reason why Formula One produced the concert for Swift during the car racing event is to encourage the new generation to get into the sport of car racing, which is highly popular in America.
The concert can also be considered as one of the biggest breaks for the singer this year after her career was filled with a lot of issues and controversies. Before the concert was held, there are rumors over the Internet that the singer is going to release her new album anytime soon. So the concert may be considered as an unexpected promo for her upcoming album, and for her career to be in the limelight once again.
During the concert, Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude for the way her fans have continuously supported her.
