Selena Gomez regrets decision to undergo rehabilitation treatment; her mother says, quitting rehab programs earlier is her habit
Fans are already worried about Selena Gomez's health status now and this has clearly affected her whole being, especially her career. After canceling her worldwide tour because she needs time to treat herself from the side effects of her Lupus disease, she admitted to a treatment facility to help her out. Afterward, Jennifer Aniston was reported to have visited Gomez and offered support and was able to cheer her up with a card signed by all their friends in show business.
But lately, the Same Old Love singer already regrets her decision to undergo the treatment. In a recent report by The Inquisitr, Selena Gomez miserably wants to get out from the Brookhaven Retreat and says that it "feels like hell" and "absolutely hates it there." This has made her love ones all the more worried and hopes that she gets better, considering that her program is supposed to be "super intense."
TThe "Love You Like a Love Song" hitmaker is feared by her mother to be "turning wild soon", in a recent report by HealthAim, claiming that the treatment "appears not effective." Mandy Teefey, Selena Gomez' mother is currently looking for ways to get hold of her daughter's finances as she is going through a mental breakdown, which can result in her leaving the country after getting out of the treatment facility. This thing of quitting rehab even before the program ends is what the "Good For You" singer usually do; thus a conservatorship would give them all a peace of mind.
The conservatorship will give Mandy access to her daughter's funds, which she could use to pressure Selena to seek help at the facility. "[Mandy's] been reaching out to find out what it would take to get a conservatorship for Selena," a source said. "She believes that a mental breakdown is possible if Gomez doesn't take this rehab stint seriously." Other sources, however, reveals that Selena Gomez has entered rehab not entirely because of Lupus, but due to her alcohol and drug dependence, but this has not been confirmed by Gomez' team.
Some close to her have also considered her depression due to her friend Christina Grimmie's death, which resulted in her "spiraling" most of the time to get away with the pain she is feeling. For whatever it is, Selena Gomez will have to complete her treatment thus making it unclear up to when she will stay in the rehab.
