Xiaomi's newly released stunners have already been generating rave responses from gadget lovers. While Xiaomi's Mi Mix line-up has the potential to turn out highly successful in the smartphone world, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has reminded many of several similarities with Samsung's recently-discontinued flagship, the Galaxy Note 7.

According to a report by Android Authority, the smartphone's curved glass surface - or as Xiaomi regards it, the 3D glass, makes the device look very similar to the Galaxy Note 7 in terms of design. The Note 2, however, has a wider touch display than that of Samsung's recently disrupted handset.

As per Mobipicker, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports a sparkling 5.7-inch OLED dual-edge curve screen display with full HD resolution. The pixel density equipped with this handset is around 386ppi. In comparison, Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 has a 5.7-inch sharp AMOLED panelled touchscreen display along with QHD resolution. The pixel density attributed to the smartphone was around 518ppi.

Mi Note 2 is powered by a flawless Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with an Adreno 530 GPU for better flow in operations. It comes in two variants. The primary one sports a 4 GB RAM alongside a 64 GB internal storage space.The secondary high-end one features a 6 GB RAM alongside a spacious 128 GB internal memory. Both variants run on Android Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8.0 on top.

The Galaxy Note 7, on the other hand, is powered by an Exynos 8890 processor. For its memory specifications, it has a 4 GB RAM alongside 64 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via a micro SD card. It also runs on Android Marshmallow.

So, to be precise, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just like a twin brother of theSamsung Galaxy Note 7 in many measures. Though being a great gadget with its impressive specs and features, the Galaxy Note 7 failed to stand out due to the drawback its battery problems provide. Now, it remains to be seen how the Xiaomi Note 2 will perform and fare with gadget lovers.
