"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 has revealed all members of the Keating 5 are alive except for Wes. Could he be the one under the sheets or could it be someone else who means a lot to Annalise, as well?

This season of HTGAWM is nothing short of puzzling. The courtroom drama may have gone a little stale even with the addition of a new arch-nemesis to the cutthroat defense lawyer, Annalise Keating. However, the intrigue elsewhere is multiplied a thousand fold.

In "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, the creators have found a way to keep fans hooked by revealing a murder in the pilot episode but not exposing the identity of the dead person right away. This way, avid viewers have something to look forward to in every episode, which is finding out who is not under the sheet.

The hit courtroom drama series is only a couple of episodes away from revealing the identity of the one who died in the fire and people are only left with three choices - Wes, Nate, and Frank. Parent Herald reports that based on clues from the episodes and the characters' importance to the show, the most likely candidate who perished is Annalise's lover, Nate.

As what was mentioned early on, Annalise found a fierce adversary in the courtroom, ADA Atwood. However, as the season progressed, fans would come to find that the assistant district attorney isn't just Keating's rival professionally, but personally as well. Nate is having an affair with Atwood.

Since nothing seems to escape Annalise's radar, she might find out about the relationship and could very well confront Nate about it. The confrontation at Annalise's house, might cause the fire that would eventually lead to Nate's death.

On the other hand, just as it was in previous seasons, Frank may find out about Nate's indiscretion and take matters into his own hands. In an attempt to protect or take care of Annalise's feelings, Frank might end Nate's life and use the fire to make everything look like an accident.

With the way Annalise reacted when she saw the body during the first episode, it is obvious that she cared a lot for the person under the sheets. People could argue it could be Wes, given the fact that the fierce attorney has grown incredibly fond of him.

However, it seems that Wes' character still has a huge part to play in the plot of the ABC series that killing him off this early is not an option. For one, there is no closure to his true identity just yet. Second, he could play an even bigger role as the plot develops further.
