‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 5 Spoilers & Release Date: Piper might not survive a war in Litchfield Prison
After an intense season 4, "Orange Is The New Black" will be back with a bang for Season 5. Rumors are circulating that a war might happen inside Litchfield Prison and a major character might not survive in the end.
According to GameNGuide, the war might be the result of Poussey's (Samira Wiley) death. Taystee (Danielle Brooks) won't be taking her death lightly and there is a huge chance that she will do everything in her power to avenge her friend's death.
Brooks revealed in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that there will be a war inside the prison when "Orange Is The New Black" returns for Season 5. She added that her character will not sit down and do nothing while life inside the prison continues just like nothing has happened. She is also mad at Caputo (Nick Sandow) for not honoring Poussey's death.
Christian Daily reported that the upcoming war might have a number of casualties and that will include Piper (Taylor Schilling). There were rumors that she will die in the hands of her ex-lover Alex (Laura Prepon) while others claim that she will die in the hands of Stella (Ruby Rose).Stella was sent to maximum security prison because of Piper. There were speculations that claim that Stella might be plotting revenge against Piper.
Schilling mentioned in an earlier interview that things will be difficult for Piper in the upcoming "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5. Fans will have to wait and see if Piper will survive all the challenges that come her way in the new season.
Elsewhere, there will also be rough times for the other prisoners as Dayanara (Dasha Poland) may face an unfortunate situation in Season 5. Based on how Season 4 ended, she was seen holding a gun oven a correctional officer. The consequences of her actions will be seen in the new season.
As of writing Netflix is yet to release the official release date of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 but it is expected to be available for streaming sometime next year.
