Katy Perry performed with Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones at their Las Vegas concert on May 11.

The Teenage Dream singer took to the stage and helped belt out Beast of Burden. Perry wore her rock and roll best during the appearance: thigh-high boots, a white skirt and a black bustier. Perry took to Twitter to share her excitement afterwards.

"Yes, I just did gyrated on Mick Jagger. WHAT?! #Stones50," Perry tweeted.

Perry also posted a picture of her and the legendary rock band, and wrote "Mick & Kate forever" in one post. She also took the time to thank the band for allowing her the opportunity to share the stage with them.

"Thanks for letting me be the 5th wheel last night! @Rollingstones," she tweeted.

It was a moment of levity for Perry, who has endured a few hardships the past couple of months. John Mayer confirmed their breakup during an interview with Ellen Degeneres in April by explaining that coupling was hard. On May 2, it was reported that Perry's pastor father branded her a devil child to a group of congregants. Keith Hudson reportedly showed a videotape of his superstar daughter that depicted her as a devil who needs healing.

"They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?" he said. "I was at a concert of Katy's where there were 20,000. I'm watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church."

Hudson later aid his emotions got the better of him when he was at his daughter's concert. He could not believe what he was saying.

"I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They're loving and worshipping the wrong thing," he said.

At the end of the service, Hudson and his wife Mary asked for donations. The two of them wanted enough money to travel to Switzerland. After her duet with the Rolling Stones, Perry made a sarcastic reference to her "Mom" judging her tweets. A user on Twitter was upset by the grammar she used.

"I noticed that. I guess I was too excited. Sorry mom," she tweeted.
