According to Forbes, Microsoft has declared to discontinue the selling of Windows 7 and Windows 8 altogether. Which means the company will no longer ship or deliver both the original Windows 7 and Windows 8 and any of their variants to the retailers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). This makes clear that OEMs like Dell and Toshiba will not be able to pre-install any versions of Windows 7 or 8 in their devices.
However, according to a report by The Economic Times. the updates for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will be available till January 2020 and 2023 respectively. This decision has already created mixed impressions among the tech fans in a potential manner. But according to the experts, this attempts is initiated by Microsoft to boost up the sales and implementation of Windows 10 in an elevated trend. The users are also recommended by Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10 soon if they are currently using the registered versions of Windows 7 or Windows 8.
