“Twilight” Star, Robert Pattinson Talks about Future Wedding with FKA Twigs; British Actor still feels like a teenager after all these years
"Twilight" star, Robert Pattinson breaks his silence about his impending wedding with FKA Twigs. However, the British actor is not particularly talking adult topics, but actually feels otherwise when it comes to marriage.
In an interview with People, Pattinson revealed he still feels like a teenager even after being engaged for more than a year now.
"I still feel like I'm 22 ... maybe even 14," the "Twilight" star confessed when he attended the 10th GO Campaign Gala on Saturday in Los Angeles. Pattinson was pertaining to his current mentality and relationship with Twigs.
On the other hand, when the 30-year-old actor was asked about the imminent big day, he dodged the question. "Planning what now?" RPatts asked back.
In early 2015, Pattinson proposed to girlfriend, FKA. Although there have been rumors shortly after that the couple would be tying the knot shortly, they have since postponed their wedding. So far, the two have not resumed their plans.
Rob and FKA, however, are open to having babies. In the third quarter of last year, "The Lost City of Z" actor said he is ready to be a father. Meanwhile, the English singer also expressed her willingness to have children.
The 28-year-old Twigs mentioned that she had not really thought about babies until she reached the age of 25. The Cheltenham native added that at that age, she had already started thinking about the 'what ifs' and find the ordeal to be terrifying.
The couple put their wedding plans on hold when Pattinson became busy filming. Since then he was able to establish his own clothing line while FKA was occupied with her music career.
To this day, Rob is a fervent supporter of the GO Campaign. He backs the organization in helping provide opportunities to disadvantaged children.
Pattinson has been with the organization for five years now. The actor finds his involvement remarkable. "It's still completely unreal to me. I did this fund-raising thing, and ended up [helping] build a school in Cambodia."
