In 2014, a five year strategy was announced by Dodge. They officially mentioned and talked about the redesign about many cars through the FCA.

The FCA, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, specifically mentioned how they want to completely redesign the chargers and challengers. They said that this would be done in 2018.

That was two years ago from the current year people are in. If the FCA kept its word then it would mean that within two years a completely new Charger would appear. The Charger has always been considered one of the classic muscle cars of not only America, but the whole world.

They have been shining since the 1900s and they have not let anyone down even in the 21st century.

However, a year later, according to Motor Authority, in 2015 the FCA announced how due to various issues, the design may very well be pushed up to 2019. Although there was some era of dissapointment, it was generally accepted and people moved on.

Now, it has been recently announced by the FCA yet again how the charger design may be pushed to 2020. This has gotten the car fans stirred up.

Motor Trend said that they keep pushing the date because they are having troubles. If that is so, then they might cancel the entire plan altogether and this could mean the redesigned charger may never come.

They also mentioned how this could all be related to a larger plan with more cars and more designs being processed. This could definitely lead to budget cuts and even more delays. The largest chance of any of the FCA design that is to be cut could very well be the Chrysler Sedan 300.

There are even more talks going on about how the Charger may even be pushed to more than 2020 and that it could come out a few years later than that.

Whatever Dodge has in mind, it is nothing small.
