Ever since the voting ballots were collected, they seemed to have created a spark for responsibility for other duties in the US. Recent ballots measures were calculated regarding the legalization of marijuana was approved in the state of California. This is strictly for adults over the age of legal consent.

However, California legalizing weed means that the most populated state in the United States now has the addition of legalized weed for recreational use.

The entire proposition was called Proposition 64. According to Reuters it passed with amazing ease as over 90% of the precincts reported that they all showed the majority of their ballots wanting to legalize marijuana with an average of 56% proposing the legalization.

That is well over half way and enough to pass the act.

Marijuana was originally legalized in 2012 by the states of Colorado as well as Washington State. Now after four years, the most crowded state in the United States now has the same opening.

This boosts up the number of marijuana usage in America by quite a bit. Before California, the numbers were high as they were but the sheer population of the state itself are going to set new records of recreational marijuana usage.

However, according to VOA news, California is not the only state that passed on the act. For instance, Massachusetts also legalized weed on Tuesday due to ballots.

Nevada is also quite in support for legalizing marijuana. As of right now Arizona is the only known state which is declining the proposal strongly.

Finally, the state of Maine's results were put on hold due to the fact that the ballot results were far too close to be able to reach a conclusion.

It seems that this week was quite eventful in terms of marijuana based decisions. Many states legalized the recreational drug and some even denied it. At the end, the numbers rose to heights never before seen.
