NBA 2K17 patch 1.05 released, full details revealed
2K announced the release of new patch 1.05 for NBA 2K17 on all platforms last week. This update includes major bug fixes and improvements as well as changes to gameplay in various devices like PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
As stated in Forbes, details of this patch are as follow:
-- Game will support HD resolution on the PlayStation 4 and 4K resolution with 60 FPS on PlayStation 4 Pro.
-- Authenticity on a large number of uniforms.
-- Gamers can now use post-release uniforms in Play Now games when using a custom roster.
-- Gamers have the ability to toggle off the "Zoom in Paint" camera option when using the default broadcast camera.
According to HOF Magazine, the development came after most players demand a lot of things to be fixed.
The existing issue was fixed, where the user was unable to change certain animation types from their MyPLAYER. With the update, they can now "unequip" their socks. The controller issue was also addressed, where the settings automatically reset after playing the games online.
Gamers will no longer prolong MyTEAM Blacktop games by committing reach-in fouls. For the users who use Pro Stick shot aiming, aiming should be much easier now in the broadcast camera. When Shooting Type is set to Real Player percentage, the shot timing is disabled for all shots.
Catching short passes are more reliable now. The top front rim ball is made soft so that ball will bounce with a more realistic physics-based outcome. The frequency of "ticky-tack" is reduced to shooting fouls on jump shots and layups.
Illegal screens are fixed, which were not being triggered in the proper situations. Improvements on general defensive Al decision making and CPU's double team logic are made. Responsiveness primarily in off-ball motion is improved. Addressed a visual issue that would sometimes cause hook shots to branch into jump-shot follow through landing poses.
A hang is fixed when users were hoping from one MyPARK to another. A number of the camera-related issue is fixed when shooting free throws during Pro-Am games. The user can now set backboard logo and wall texture to none/blank while editing. The user can view team rosters of each team directly from the Power Rankings menu in Pro-Am. While playing Pro-Am, all of the teammates will have a unique color indicator. The user can see Grand Badges on the 2K card in MyPARK and Pro-Am.
The gamer can skip already watched story scenes. Previously user was unable to play their next game in MyCAREER, but now this issue has fixed (A restart required). Also, users will be able to see triggered story scenes now. One issue was addressed where false message information was sent to the user via the phone in MyCAREER.
Points of Emphasis is added to the Gameplan feature which will only affect simulation results. While moving a team to another city, some city names (e.g. Buffalo) was not approved before, but they will be permitted now. Beware of injuries while playing head-to-head in MyLEAGUE online from now.
There are color improvements in Kansas City Knights uniform now. In MyGM, expansion teams will not get unlimited funds from now on.
