"Fifty Shades Darker" star, Jamie Dornan, breaks his silence on sexual life with wife, Amelia Warner. Is the Irish actor as adventurous as his character, Christian Grey?

Dornan, who plays two of the most sexually adventurous characters in film and television, revealed what he is like in bed with his wife. However, if fans think that the Irish actor emulates his roles when being intimate, they are in for a surprise.

The 34-year-old actor admitted he is nothing like Grey. "No. I'm not into that. My wife isn't either. It's funny. Obviously there's a huge market for it, a lot of people are into a certain type of sex but I am not just one of those people," Dornan told news.com.au in an interview.

The sexual escapades of Paul and Christian are not Jamie Dornan's cup of tea. The actor reiterated that the characters have no influence in his life, carnal or otherwise.

On the other hand, the father of two declared that he is comfortable in his own skin, literally. Dornan said he isn't self-conscious when it comes to baring his body in his movie and TV projects. As an actor, he is willing to do what is asked of him.

Still, the former model hopes there is a little restraint in the scenes. "I hope there's some degree of modesty remaining but I am not prude in any way, I wasn't brought up that way." He added that he is from a liberal family. Therefore, he is not scandalized by nudity or sex.

Dornan also talked about his good looks and how it might be displacing his skills as an actor. After all, most of the actor's fans are women, who are swooning over his incredibly handsome face and fit body. The actor is not the least bit worried if this is the case.

However, Dornan also said that he wanted to be recognized as a respectable actor. This is especially true when he works hard at portraying the characters he is playing.

Jamie Dornan will be seen in the big screen in "Fifty Shades Darker" showing in cinemas on February 2017.
