Microsoft Surface Devices: Company to release Black Friday deals, Siemens NX Certification makes it perfect for engineers
A lot of gaming fans are excited for the upcoming Black Friday holiday sale as Microsoft is offering Xbox at a lower price. The company is also releasing Black Friday deals for their Surface devices.
According to ZDNet, Microsoft is offering the Surface Book 2-in-1 laptop for USD 400 less than the base price of USD 1,899 on Black Friday. However, their website does not indicate if the price is for the Intel Core i5 or the Core i7 256GB model since the original price on their website for the Surface Book is USD 1,499.
On the other hand, the company is also promoting a deal on the Surface Pro 4 tablet. The deal includes the Core i5 model with 256GB of storage and a cover accessory all for USD 999. This means that the device is prices USD 429 less than its original cost.
Aside from that, the Surface Pro Core i5 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is being offered at USD 200 less than the USD 999 original asking price. The company is also promoting their other Windows 10 laptops on sale for Black Friday.
Meanwhile, WinBeta reported that the Siemens NX just recently certified the software to work with the Surface devices. The company announced that the new Surface Studio and Surface Book with Performance Base will run with Siemens NX software.
The Siemens NX software is considered to be one of the most advance product design software applications in the world today. With that, the new surface devices will give engineers more confidence in utilizing the devices in order to help them design and create innovative products.
The media outlet got a chance to talk to Joe Bohman during the recent launch in New York. Bohman is the Vice President of Product Engineering Software for the company. He revealed that they think that the Surface devices represent the future devices for engineers.
In the presentation during the launch, the team revealed how the tools will work with the Surface Studio and how they will incorporate the use of the Surface Dial. This certification is granted only to devices that have passed a series of tests that determine the device's ability to deliver the best end-user experience.
