Britney Another Baby: Singer Wants Another Child, A Daughter [VIDEO]
Britney Spears would like to have another child, preferably a daughter.
The Toxic singer opened up to Extra's Mario Lopez about expanding her family which includes two sons, Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6 with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears was the guest host at the 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango in Los Angeles on May 13 and Lopez was granted an interview. She confessed to being jealous that he was the father of a little girl. Lopez has a 2-year-old daughter, Gia with wife Courtney. The two are expecting another child later this year.
"Awww, I want a girl!" Spears declared.
Spears said she very much wanted to give her sons a sister but she had her hands full at the moment. The former X Factor said that her sons have already showed signs of wanting to be just like their mother. She thought they could possibly have an interest in becoming entertainers. She joked that the school age boys already liked attention and would enjoy the limelight.
"We're taking baby steps right now as far as agencies and stuff go, but they're little comedians, so we'll see," she said.
Spears said that her sons were also influenced by her sweet tooth. She told Lopez of being a fan of white chocolate and love potato chips. It was hard for her to maintain a healthy diet regimen when the kids where around.
"When they come over, the snacks are constantly piling up, and I constantly have to feed them. I'm like, 'Jesus I want fried chicken too," she said.
In January, it was reported that Spears ended her engagement to Jason Trawick, her former manager, over the issues of kids. Spears wanted to have a child with him and Trawick was resistant to the idea. It became a dividing line between the couple. Sources said that while Trawick loved her kids dearly, he was simply in a different place in his life.
"While they realized they love each other very much, they were going in different directions," a source told E! "Britney wanted more kids, and Jason wasn't in the same place so they decided to call it quits.
