[WATCH] Kim Mathers Escapes Jail Time For DUI; How This Issue Affects Eminem's New Album "Success"?
Kim Mather's woes are not yet over in her recent mishap that she reveals she had done on purpose. In October 2015, Mathers drove under the influence of alcohol and crashed her car in Macomb Township. She pleaded guilty to reduce her charges but this issue has resurfaced again in time for her ex Eminem's new album "Success".
Their marital story was a roller coaster but still, the two estranged couple find their own ways of moving on. But Kim Mathers' seemingly troubled disposition always gets in the way. ANN reports how she admitted to doing it on purpose although the reason is still unknown.
On Tuesday, her final sentence will be $900 fine, one-year probation and alcohol and drug testing several times a month. Mathers is also undergoing treatment for substance abuse.
New York Daily News further reports that the Grammy winner's ex-wife who he dedicated his breakup songs "Kim" and "Stan" has luckily avoided jail time because of her guilty plea. Kim Mathers and Eminem share three daughters from their previous marriage, one as the adopted daughter of her late twin, Dawn. So far, Kim Mathers has not yet reached maturity to avoid her addiction since she was a teenager.
Kim Mathers denied being treated as a celebrity during court hearings but her popularity is given from her previous connection to Eminem. And together with her sentence, Kim Mathers will have to pay ALL tests that will be randomly done on her.
For Eminem's new album, Mather's drunk driving scandal may be a benefit or a disadvantage depending on how it will be treated by fans. It is just disappointing that Kim Mathers did not learn a single lesson when her twin sister died because of drug abuse. And considering she has Hailie and two more daughters did not tame her to be a role model to them.
