Pokemon Go: Latest Updates Break Down All Nerfs And Buffs
Since the release of the game's 1.1.0 on iOS or 0.31.0 on Android, the Pokemon Go community has been in arms for updates. The updates come with several additions, particularly in the customizations and battle bluffs chief. There's also the removal of some features instead of actual bug fixes which left some fans railing against Niantic - the free-to-play hit's developer.
According to Polygon, Niantic has taken Pokémon GO down for hours to get ready for the new updates. And what annoyed the fans most was that when they go to the app store to update their game, the only reason it gave for the update was for "minor text fixes."
The players of the hit game know and understand the value of strong collection variations of Pokemon. According to Silph Road subreddit, some of their favorite characters were altered. Some are getting stronger, and others are getting weaker.
With the new update, players can change the look of their trainers from the profile screen. All they have to do is to select the three-line icon which is located in the lower right-hand corner which will eventually bring them to the customization menu.
Another update is in the achievement medals. Most achievement medals have new looks which are similar to a Pokédex for the Kanto achievement and a running shoe for the Jogger milestone. In transferring a Pokemon, players have to access a separate menu located from the screen. According to The GamesDrop, players can no longer send their marked "favorite" Pokémon back to Professor Willow.
According to Heavy, there have been changes in finding new types of species around the area hence players can expect to encounter new species around the town. Other characters that are difficult to find before have become harder to track down.
Also, the tracking system that shows Pokémon's location has been altered. With the new updates, Pokemon trainers are completely on their own when looking for Pokémon everywhere. The Pokemon Go update on this makes the search more difficult and challenging.
