Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber and many more were in attendance Friday to watch Ballas wed his fiancée and music partner, BC Jean.
Derek, who has been Ballas' best friend for decades, wrote a very touching message about the couple in a new Instagram post.
"Such an honor to be the best man at my brothers wedding. Witnessing their love be sealed under a beautiful Oak tree in front of family friends was such a special moment," he wrote. "Like the tree May you Stand together tall and proud. May you always Go out on a limb for one another. To Stay grounded and dig your roots in deep so that you may weather any storm. And always continue to grow, stronger and higher reaching towards the heavens . And to always enjoy the view. Love you two". Julianne had some heartwarming thoughts to express of her own about Ballas and Jean, writing in her own Instagram post, "Couldn't be happier for these friends of mine! BC you are truly the most beautiful and hilarious Hippie Queen there ever was. Mark, you now get to put your undeniable loyalty, friendship and love in to this woman's heart every single day. Your hopeless romantic self has finally been set free! Best wedding weekend EVER!!!!! Love you both so much!"
Ballas took off this past season of Dancing With the Stars after competing as a pro for 18 consecutive seasons. He has won the Mirrorball trophy twice - with Kristi Yamaguchi in season 6 and Shawn Johnson in season 8.
Ballas is currently playing Frankie Valli on Broadway in Jersey Boys, with his stint set to last until Jan. 15. The dancer/singer is hopeful about his new career opportunities even if he misses Dancing With the Stars at times.
"I'm definitely going to miss it, but I'm looking forward to having some time to do something else for a bit," Ballas said in September.
