Lady Gaga performed her new single "Million Reasons" at the American Music Awards Sunday night, showcasing her powerful vocals.

Gaga brought the house down with a powerful performance of "Million Reasons", her country-tinged love ballad from her new album, Joanne. The song features Gaga singing of the various reasons she should leave her lover, but notes that she only needs "one good one to stay."

This is the second single off Joanne, a notable departure from her more eccentric EDM style. The song and album represent a more stripped-down look into Gaga as an artist, beyond the avant garde clothing and artifice of dance pop.

Speaking on "Million Reasons", Gaga told Yahoo that it is "a country song mixed with funk and rock 'n' roll. You would never imagine it would sound that way... the feeling underneath the record is it's almost got like a little bit of a hip-hop feeling. But at the same time, it's not a hip-hop song. It's kind of like I just had no boundaries making music - and neither do any of the other people we were working with. It was kind of like what feels right, what hits the best, what's going to get everybody in their stomach and their heart."
