While Pokemon Go from the house of Niantic, Inc. got the perfect range of popularity overall mobile platforms. Nintendo's upcoming Super Mario Run may not see as much craze among the mobile gamers as the former one.

While, Super Mario has been a brand in the revolution of gaming since long past. It is very hard to believe that many gamers are even unaware that Nintendo's heroic character is coming soon on Mobile gaming segments as well.

According to the latest study by a subsidiary of Research Now, Peanut Labs, Nintendo's upcoming Super Mario Run, which is scheduled to reveal on December 15, may not enjoy as much popularity as Niantic's Pokemon Go. The research was conducted on 1,100 gamers and it was based on various points of views like mobile consumer needs, discovery, engagement and monetization strategies.

As per Venture Beat, gamers were divided into the basis gender and age group in the survey. Views were taken from male gamers within the age of 18-24 and from male gamers within the age of 25-49 separately, with household incomes of $100,000 or more.

The key findings were indicating to the current status of the $36 billion worth mobile gaming world. Some of the beats were surprising as well as shocking. According to the survey, only 52% of the whole are familiar with the concept of Super Mario Run, which means Nintendo is still left to put a lot of effort on promoting this masterpiece,

Other findings suggest that Clash of Clans is effectively re-engaging most number of push notifications on each and every mobile platform and Madden NFL Football has taken the position of the highest recommend intent (above 90%). Which means it is most preferred one by the gamers to others.

The survey was held from October 12, 2016, to October 17, 2016. The results of the research also denoted that the mid-core strategy game Mobile Strike from MZ stands as the mobile game with highest play time, monetization and lifetime value.

Nintendo's Super Mario Run arrives first on iOS on December 15 and later on, for Andriod devices .
