Pokemon Sun and Moon was released very recently. Around the later half of this past November, this game can still be seen as a very new game and therefore it is even more surprising that it managed to break even more records than before.

The biggest record broken was in France. But before one reaches to that nation, it is important to gain some respectful perspective to this entire situation. The game so far has released 3.7 million copies of itself on a gloabl scale. That itself is very impressive for a game which is not more than a month old.

Secondly speaking, according to Siliconera, Europe itself accounts for 1.5 million of these copies on the first week. That is a big chunk for that continent, but it is understandable since Europe has quite a few countries inside it, all of which are developed and cultured enough to have that game.

The most outstanding one from all the records is the record breaking in france. In that same week, out of the 1.5 Million copies sold, 425,000 of those said copies were sold in France, in just a week. That is incredibly records for France.

In fact if it is compared to other Pokemon games in France, no one even comes close. Pokemon X and Y sold about 125,000 copies in its week. Meanwhile, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire combined sold about 180,000 copies in their week.

Sun and Moon just doubled that record with such ease, it was almost beautiful. Polygon mentioned how 15 million copies of X and Y have been sold since 2013. It is highly expected that this new game by Pokemon called Pokeom Sun and Moon is going to break all the records of Pokemon yet.

Sun and Moon are right now the fastest-selling Nintendo game, what other surprises can they bring and records can they break? One can only wait and see.
