Scheana Shay Divorce: 'Vanderpump Rules' Star In Vegas After Mike Shay Split [VIDEO]
Scheana Marie is off to Las Vegas just days after filing for divorce from Mike Shay following just two years of marriage.
According to a new report, the Vanderpump Rules star has been focusing on her friends and family as she prepares to end her marriage for good.
“She’s having a hard time,” a source told Radar Online. “She thinks it’s for the better. She’s trying to focus on being with her girlfriends and hanging with friends she’s known for years who don’t really judge her opposite of the show.”
“She’s been spending a lot of time with her mom and sister,” the insider added. “Her mom is very empowering of her and she’s been going to a lot of events with her like every week, every red carpet. They’re all just trying to be there for her and step up and do what they need to do.”
“Mike Shay knew it was coming,” the insider continued of their split. “He knew he wasn’t stepping up and she kept telling him. And he just kept dragging his feet.... She did care about her husband. She does love Mike. She does hope the best for him as a friend, but she’s done with the marriage. She couldn’t handle it anymore.”
