'Clash of Clans' Holiday Events: Supercell's Update Content Leaked Online [VIDEO]
Supercell's free to play massively multiplayer mobile video game, Clash of Clans, has already received its much awaited December update. The new update added a myriad of new aesthetic changes to the game, giving it a Christmas-themed makeover.
However, the games developer isn't really quite done yet. They are reportedly still set to release various other updates throughout the holiday season.
The company is reportedly still planning to roll out different patches and updates before the year ends. These update will be adding a number of new content to the game, giving players more activities and units to play with. The upcoming updates themselves will include different "Events," similar to that on the company's other game, Clash Royale.
The first event called the "Hog Rider Event," has already rolled out. The new event gives players a big discount when training Hog Riders in their barracks. The units can then be used to participate in different event challenges, which will reward participants with additional gems and XP.
The next event that will reportedly be coming is the game's annual "1 Gem Boost" event. As per the title, players will be able to boost their mines and collectors for just 1 gem all throughout the holiday season. This should give players the chance to earn gold and train units faster than before.
The final event, which was already teased by Supercell, is the "Clashmas" event that will include 3 mysterious presents. While the company has yet to divulge what the presents will be, the latest leak reports on Clash of Clans have already revealed that the gifts will be comprised of new units and spells.
When the gifts are released, players will reportedly be given access to a brand new unit, the Ice Wizard, which has been taken straight out of the game's sister title, Clash Royale. The other two gifts on the other hand are both spells, namely the Freeze Trap and the X-Mas Spell.
The Freeze Trap might be something similar to the Freeze Spell from Clash Royale, while the X-Mas spell is speculated to be a holiday-themed damage spell in Clash of Clans.
