'30 Rock' Star Married: Katrina Bowden Weds Musician Ben Jorgensen
30 Rock actress Katrina Bowden married musician Ben Jorgensen on Sunday in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
The couple's wedding registry revealed that they will be honeymooning in Hawaii, complete with surf lessons, a couples massage and an exclusive tour of the locations used on the TV show Lost.
Jorgensen popped the question to Bowden the night before last year's SAG Awards. The actress was nominated in the Best Ensemble category as part of the 30 Rock cast. Bowden and the cast won the award in 2008, during the show's second season.
The couple planned the entire wedding on their own, which Bowden found to be more difficult than expected, telling People, "It's just crazy. I didn't know anything about weddings. ... It's just kind of nuts."
Despite the difficulty, 24-year-old Bowden had no trouble picking out her dress.
"It was very easy to find. It was one of the first dresses I tried on," she added. "I had seen it and I thought, 'I love that dress.' I tried on a few others, just to try some on. But once I tried on the dress that I got, it was a no-brainer."
Since 30 Rock ended its final season in January, Bowden has had more time to plan the wedding: "It's hard when you're working, but now that I'm not working, I have a little more time. It's exciting. It's fun."
Bowden played Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) assistant Cerie for the show's seven seasons. In 2013, she has made appearances in the films Scary Movie 5 and Movie 43. She will also be in the upcoming film Nurse 3D alongside Paz de la Huerta.
Jorgensen, 29, was the lead singer and guitarist for New Jersey band Armor for Sleep. The group disbanded in 2009 after releasing three studio albums.
