Valerie Fairman Dead: '16 & Pregnant' Star Dies Of Apparent Drug Overdose [VIDEO]
Valerie Fairman has died.
On Wednesday, six years after the young mother starred on an episode of 16 And Pregnant, the former reality star was found unresponsive in the bathroom of a friend's home in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
According to Fairman’s mother, the friend was forced to break down the door of her own bathroom after Valerie didn't answer to her requests to leave the room.
As Gossip Cop revealed to readers on Thursday, Valerie is believed to have suffered a drug overdose, but thus far, no cause of death has officially been confirmed.
"Fairman leaves behind her 7-year-old daughter Nevaeh. Her pregnancy was documented on the MTV reality series, which showcased the struggles of teen pregnancy. She appeared on an episode during the show’s second season, with her storyline in part focusing on her breakup with the child’s father, Matt. It was filmed in 2009, and aired the follow year," Gossip Cop explained.
In recent years, Valerie has been suffering from drug addiction and had multiple run-ins with the law. Just last year, Valerie was arrested for prostitution, and just one week ago, a report suggested the reality star had been booked after resisting an arrest.
Valerie appeared on 16 and Pregnant when she was just 15 years old and her former boyfriend, Matt, was seen alongside her -- despite the fact that he was uninterested in a relationship with her.
Our thoughts are with the Fairman family.
