Saturday Night Live is in the process of losing many of its most well known faces, leaving the sketch comedy show in a casting crisis.

Last year saw the departure of Kristin Wigg while last Sunday marked the end of Bill Hader's tenure on the show. Soon Seth Meyers will leave in order to take over Jimmy Fallon's position on Late Night.

If their decampment was not devastating enough, The Inquisitr stated last week that sources have reported that Fred Armisen will bow out of the show as will Jason Sudeikis.

The Inquisitr further reports that Armisen's appearances on the show have significantly decreased since he helped to create Portlandia while Sudeikis has been investing more and more time in film (recent works include We're the Millers, Epic, Relanxious, Tumbledown, and Horrible Bosses 2)

Although Sudeikis' departure has not been officially announced, the Huffington Post reports that cast mate Jay Pharoah tweeted "Hader, Armisen & Sudekis the talent of those three and just them as people in general will be missed but we will be strong and carry on..,"

The tweet has since been deleted.

However, Variety states that Saturday Night Live has seen its fair share of cast shakeups in its 38-season history. When one member leaves, another enters and brings along new ideas and insight.
