Voting during and after Monday's Dancing with the Stars performance proved difficult for the public when they were unable to vote on ABC's website.

The show's official Twitter page tweeted: "Voting on ‪https://ABC.com is temporarily down but you can vote by texting, calling and on Facebook."

Though the account did not send out a follow-up tweet telling voters that ABC's website was back up when the issue was finally fixed, finalist Zendaya Coleman tweeted that the site was "back online...don't forget to vote that way too...u register with email then u will get 5 votes!!"

Dancing with the Stars provides four ways for the public to vote for their favorites, according to its website: toll-free phone calls, text voting (AT&T customers only), online at ABC.com or online via Facebook at facebook.com/dancingwiththestars.

Officials at ABC saw that their website was down prior to Monday night's live show and issued a warning during the show, with host Tom Bergeron announcing the news. As of now it is unknown if the downed site influenced voting patterns in any way, though the finalists allegedly weren't concerned.  During the live show, finalist Aly Reisman noted that all of her fans voted on Facebook anyway.

The incident comes just weeks after The Voice had its own problems with their voting system. Votes cast via text and online were not counted in the results, according to Telescope, the company that tallies votes for the show. However, host Carson Daly confirmed on air that the uncounted votes did not affect the results.

The live finale of Dancing with the Stars airs tonight on ABC from 9-11 p.m.  The two-hour finale will crown the 16th champion of the show.  The finalists are NFL wide receiver Jacoby Jones, country music singer Kellie Pickler, Olympic gymnast Aly Reisman and Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman.

Pitbull, Jessica Sanchez and Wynonna Judd are expected to perform. Judd was a contestant on season 16 but she was eliminated in the first week of competition.
