The Chinese tech giant; Xiaomi is reportedly in the process of testing its Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. As a matter of fact, the said device boasting Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB of RAM and other amazing specs recently obtained US FCC certification indicating its forthcoming launch.

According to Gizbot, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been spotted in the US FCC certification site together with the sketching of the smartphone. With that, the specifications of the handset were also revealed. The forthcoming smartphone from Xiaomi is anticipated to feature the hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC that will be paired with4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Aside from that, Android Headlines stated in its article that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be made out of metal just like its forerunner. The handset might also sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display. Apart from Snapdragon 652 SoC, the Redmi Note 5 might also be engineered with MediaTek's Helio X25 64-bit deca-core SoC; but its availability will be market dependent.

As for the camera department, the Redmi Note 5 might house a 16-megapixel camera, while an 8-megapixel snapper is expected to be positioned in front. Based on some rumors, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 might arrive re-installed with MIUI 9 OS. Lastly, the upcoming handset might have Black, Silver and Gold variety of colors to choose from.

As far as the price is concerned, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 might carry a price tag of €200 ($212) in Europe, $200 in the US and ₹12,999 ($191) in India. This handset is predicted to make its first appearance during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, so it is expected that more details and information about the device's specs and features will be spilled as its launch nears.
