With the NBA 2017 All-Star Game lurking in February, developer 2K Sports is set to highlight elite basketball's annual show. The event's teaser will soon be included in the 2K17 game edition.

It is no secret that the NBA's loyal legions of followers have catapulted the biggest basketball show on Earth to new heights. Since its launching last September 2016, the NBA-themed video game is one of the best-selling games in the world.

What keeps fans and enthusiasts glued to NBA 2K17 is the smooth on-screen activities. Technical troubles can now be resolved on a short notice and connectivity has improved tremendously.

The NBA game is incomplete without the All-Star competition. Pitting the best players from each conference is one of the biggest attractions during the action-filled weekend.

With the fan votes out and the players who made it to the main showcase already named, 2K Sports believe that the time to spice the video game is now. The upcoming trailer will unravel the talents of LeBron James, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetokounmpo and De Mar De Rozan from the East in addition to the West's Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry.

As of late, one of the most requested feature of NBA 2K17 is the badge. In a sense, this is a recognizable pin that highlights a player's ingenuity or expertise on the court.

There are 55 badges available but not all can acquired immediately. Players need to prove themselves during the game in order to be rewarded with these symbolic tokens.

In order to be identified as a Spark Plug, a player needs to score at least seven points off the bench for a number of games.

One has to incur 50 alley-hoop passes in a single season in order to have the Lob City Passer badge.

To become a dimer, a player must have 300 assists in 20 games.

Meanwhile, a Pick Pocket badge can be bagged if a gamer can poke the ball loose 50 times.

Four hundred rebounds are needed to get hold of the Hustle Rebounder badge.

Moreover, a gamer must produce 200 jump shots, dribble pull-ups and step-backs in order to gain an outside scoring badge.
