It is an exciting week for gamers as Bethesda news includes "Fallout 4" finally getting a patch for PlayStation 4 Pro and "The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim" is coming to Nintendo Switch games. New mod features announced by the developer are also coming to both games.

"Fallout 4" PS4 Pro Patch

"Fallout 4" update 1.9 is currently available to download on PC as part of the Steam beta program. The highlight for PS4 Pro users is a patch that enhances the lighting and graphic features of the game. However, it is not a 4K resolution.

In detail, the "Fallout 4" update 1.9 includes additional features for category mods and number of rating count to mods browsing menu. Added number of favourite count, required dependencies and latest version number and notes was added to mod details page. Gamers will also have the ability to sort highest rated and most favourite for the day, week, month and all time.

Bethesda also fixed general performance of "Fallout 4." Improvements to reporting mods categories and website messaging were also reported. Occasional crashes while scrolling through load order menu has also been fixed with the 1.9 update.

"Fallout 4" PS4 Pro patch includes enhancement to native 1440p resolution, enhanced draw distance for grass, objects, trees and even NPCs. God ray effects are also improved according to Digital Trends.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" Coming To Nintendo Switch Games

"The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim" is reported to come to Nintendo Switch games, but it is still unconfirmed if it is the original version or the special edition. Initially, it was reported that the special edition was coming to Switch in a Best Buy listing according to Express.

However, Best Buy has already clarified that the listing was erroneous. Bethesda's "The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim" special edition has improved visuals, smoother performance and mod support compared to its Xbox 360 and PS3 predecessor.
