Bynes: 'I'm Suing Everybody' Twitter NYPD Rant For Unlawful Arrest, Says Will Become Singer/Rapper [PHOTO]
Amanda Bynes announced through Twitter on Monday that she would be pursuing a singing and rapping career.
The 27-year old former actress unleashed a rant against the NYPD that same morning and concluded with the announcement of her new career choice.
Bynes, whose increasingly erratic behavior has received national headlines over the past few weeks, was arrested late on May 23 for illegal possession of marijuana. In addition to the possession, Bynes allegedly threw her bong out the window when finding out that the NYPD was called and was promptly arrested.
Her rant on Monday included allegations that the NYPD were lying about everything: "I'm suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia."
She then ranted about being sent to a psychiatric hospital, tweeting, "I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am."
Bynes concluded her rant by proclaiming herself "free forever" and discussed her plans for the future.
"Look forward to seeing me in music videos!" she said, "I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"
Bynes famously retired from acting in 2010 at the age of 24. She had a supporting role in the movie musical Hairspray in 2007, which required her to do a lot of singing.
She infamously tweeted in March that she wanted rapper Drake to "murder [her] vagina." Rapper Wacka Flocka Flame tweeted his support for Bynes after Monday's Twitter rant, claiming that "people hate and the media lies," which she promptly re-tweeted.
Bynes has not tweeted any more information about her new career path.
