Chris Brown Hit-and-Run with Karrueche Tran [VIDEO]: Singer May Face Charges After Accident in Beverly Hills
Chris Brown is under investigation for a hit-and-run car accident in California.
The singer crashed his Range Rover into the back of a Mercedes in Beverly Hills, Ca., last Tuesday, according to TMZ. Brown stopped and allegedly exchanged information with the other driver, according to video footage obtained by X17 Online. However, sources are now claim that the R&B singer refused to give the other driver his driver license number and then gave false insurance information, according to TMZ.
If he left the scene without fully disclosing information which is required by law,, Brown could be in violation of his probation, which he received following the 2009 assault charges in relation to Rihanna. Brown could face four years in prison if he is found guilty of the hit-and-run charges, according to TMZ.
However, others report that not only did the 24-year-old musician stay at the scene of the accident and reportedly gave the correct information, but also tried to phone the other driver. According to TMZ, the other driver hung up on phone calls form Brown's lawyer.
Brown, who was accompanied by Karrueche Tran at the time of the accident, is said to have inflicted "medium" damage on the other vehicle, according to the Daily Mail. Further more, the Daily Mail has posted pictures that show Brown and Tran at the scene of the accident taking photos of the damage to the other vehicle.
