‘Pokémon GO’ Gen 2 Update: New 80 Creatures, 2 Berries, Items And More Coming; Some Characters Named [VIDEO]
Finally, the "Pokémon GO" fans have been waiting for will finally arrive as Niantic recently announced the coming of new 80-second generation characters in the game. However, it is not yet revealed when the mobile game company will exactly drop the Gen 2 update or even named the upcoming creatures.
In a new trailer revealed by the team behind "Pokémon GO," it announced the coming of more Pokémon. In fact, it even hinted the arrival of new species by giving a glimpse of Cyndaquil, Hoppip, Chikorita, Crobat, Skarmory, Donphan, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Totodile, Marill, and Sentret.
Also, Bellossom, Espeon and Umbreon are seen in other promotional teasers of "Pokémon GO." According to Nerdist, some assume that these Pokémons are the evolved creatures from the Gen 2 update.
Hence, players can now catch Quilava, Typhlosion, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Bayleef, Meganium, Noctowl, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Azumarill and Furret. With all the mentioned "Pokémon GO" creatures, it now totals to 25 out of 80 monsters coming.
The publication even added that legendary characters like Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Celebi might be seen; now totaling to 55 out of the possible 75. With that potential 69 "Pokémon GO" monsters, there is a chance that 14 creatures won't be included in the upcoming update.
Moreover, Kotaku reported that the "Pokémon GO" update is set to come later this week. Aside from the 80 new characters, players will now have the chance to collect tons of more creatures from the Johto compendium.
Once these monsters were caught, the new creatures will find the same characters within "Pokémon GO." Aside from that, the upcoming new update brings in new mechanics, evolution items and bigger options for the trainers' outfit.
When the update comes in "Pokémon GO," trainers can now use two new Berries. Nanab Berry has the ability to make the creature's movement slow while Pinap Berry will double the trainer's Candy if the next catch will succeed.
