'Call Of Duty' Servers Down; Activision Rolling Out Game Updates After Repair Of Intermittent Servers
The fate of "Call Of Duty" 2017 is not yet set in stone as Activision remains tight-lipped about the project. Players are hoping that Activision would release an update soon or simply give them the low down on the current game development status.
According to Express UK, game developers Activision and Sledgehammer have yet to officially unveil or launch "Call Of Duty" 2017 game. With the lack of details for "Call Of Duty" 2017 game, players are giving their own two cents and predictions on what the possible game settings could be. Since it has been reportedly established that "Call Of Duty" 2017 will take the players back to its root franchise, a WWII setting might be the most possible setting for the game.
While the concept and setting of "Call Of Duty" 2017 game remains unannounced, the servers of the current version of "Call Of Duty" have been experiencing problems. According to Daily Star, servers of "Infinite Warfare," "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops 3" have experienced offline mode and is suspected to be suffering a game-wide outage.
It appears like Activision is aware of the intermittent game server connections as its Twitter support page acknowledged the problem on Feb. 21. The Activision Support account posted on Twitter that they are aware of the connectivity issues affecting MWR and IW. They also advised players to standby for updates.
As of writing, Infinity Ward has reportedly announced that the "Call Of Duty" game servers are beginning to be back online but still warned the players that game connections might still be intermittent until the server connections are fully restored. While the offline "Call Of Duty" servers might be a downer for most players, some players are looking on the bright side and hoping for a major game update once the servers are back on track.
