'Red Dead Redemption 2' Latest News & Updates: Game Could Be Announced at E3 2017; Plot Theory Presents Crossover from 'Revolver' Game
"Red Dead Redemption 2" is one of the most hyped titles today, given that the original game came over seven years ago. Now that the game is yet to be announced, eyes are cordially on whatever details will spill.
Rockstar Games announced "Red Dead Redemption 2" at a very uncanny time without any event to back it up. Nonetheless, the game is confirmed on being in development, but there are still some parts of it that need clarification-most especially its release date.
According to PC Advisor, the Rockstar Games title could finally show more of itself in the coming E3 2017 event this June. Although this is yet to be confirmed, it is believed to make good sense since Take-Two Interactive is enlisted as one company that participates in the event, more so that they showcase a lot of their projects and titles there. So far, the confirmed release for "Red Dead Redemption 2" is by fall of 2017, without a specific number to mark.
As per What Culture, there are a lot of concepts to account for in terms of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" story and plot. One claim says that it could focus on the 1889 Blackwater Massacre, wherein over 30 casualties were counted. Given that this topic was revealed over and over, it is one idea that could make its way to the sequel. Another is the possibility that the leaked names Seth and Irish could be playable characters; these two names have been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time already.
Lastly, cameos from "Red Dead Revolver" is also being looked at, accounting the fact that the aforementioned is a link to "Red Dead Redemption." Many believe that giving players the chance to see and even play their favorite characters once again in "Red Dead Redemption 2" could become a rather wise and practical move.
