‘Clash Royale’ New Card Guide: Goblin Gang Card Finally Available, Best Strategies and Techniques Detailed [VIDEO]
Supercell has now finally released the last of the four new cards it has unveiled for the highly popular free to play mobile strategy video game, Clash Royale. As of today, gamers should now be able to get access to the Goblin Gang common card by either gaining them through chests or outright buying them from the in-game store.
As previously mentioned, the Goblin Gang card will be the last of the four new cards revealed for Clash Royale. The other cards that have already been released include the Battle Ram, the Dart Goblin, and the Executioner, as per a report from Touch Arcade.
While the other cards are indeed quite useful and powerful cards, the Goblin Gang is still considered by some as an interesting new addition that may be paired with other cards to create different strategies. One of the card's biggest advantages in Clash Royale is its elixir savings.
According to the Supercell website, the card will basically spawn a set of ordinary goblins and spear goblins, with six goblins in total. Using the card will cost just 3 elixirs, which means there is a 1 elixir savings compared to summoning goblins and spear goblins separately.
Similar to the Skeleton Army card, the Goblin Gang card is a swarm card that can be used to take down heavy hitters such as Giants and Golems. However, the Goblin Gang card may also be used to counter other swarm cards, such as the minion horde.
One of the main advantages for the Goblin Gang card is its ability to withstand a fully maxed out Zap spell. The goblins also don't immediately die with a poison spell, unlike the Skeleton Army. It also has to be pointed out that the goblins have a much faster movement speed compared to the Skeleton Army.
Despite the apparent advantage, the Goblin Gang card does have its weaknesses. For one, the goblins are instantly killed by some spells, such as the Log, and arrows from a Princess. Compared to the Skeleton Army, the Goblin Gang has a lower damage per second (DPS) rating, which means that it will not be able to take down structures and enemies quickly.
