Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Matte Black Color Variant Will be Available Starting March 1 [Video]
Xiaomi said, at the time of its Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launch that it will introduce a special matte black variant of the device in a couple of months. Keeping to its promise, the Chinese company is now bringing the special color version of the budget handset on 1 March.
Redmi India, in a tweet confirmed that the black color variant will be up for sale on Flipkart and company's e-commerce platform Mi.com beginning 12 noon. Currently, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available in three color variants, which are Gold, Grey, and Silver. However, the new variant will be up for sale on Mi.com and Flipkart from March 1, as per Firstpost.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in the month of January and was announced in three memory configurations; 2GB RAM with 32GB storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage. We hope that the new black variant will be available in all three versions. Some of the highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are a solid metal body, processor performance, and improved camera as compared to the Redmi Note 3.
According to Indian Express, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display on the front covered with a curved protective glass. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which is step down from the Snapdragon 650, though is said to be more power efficient.
There is a new 13MP camera at the back with phase detection auto focus and a dual tone LED flash, while on the front side there is a 5MP camera. Connectivity options in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 include support for dual-SIM (hybrid SIM card slot), 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS with GLONASS, infrared sensor and a microUSB port.
The battery is the Unique Selling Point of this phone; 4100 mAh that Xiaomi claims lasts 25 percent longer than the previous Redmi Note 3. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is running on MIUI 8 beta based on Android Marshmallow, and a Nougat beta update has been promised to users.
