A lot of fans know that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is underway. However, there hasn't been any official word regarding its potential release date. Interestingly enough, it seems like its creator, Justin Roiland, is currently preoccupied with other projects on the side.

Roiland, who recently attended the D.I.C.E. 2017 Summit, has dropped some teasers about its future projects, on the side of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. According to UploadVR, the show creator was accompanied by his partner in Squanchtendo Games, Tanya Watson, who previously worked for Epic Games studio.

Watson was the first one to drop the minor teaser for the studio's future project, saying that it is going to be released for Virtual Reality. Fans can expect a long-form game, much like a traditional one in length.

"But we would also love to make more of those dense, short-form experiences like Accounting as continued experiments," she continued to note. Sadly, these are the only details that Watson dropped at the event.

As for the co-creator of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, he recalled some past events where he tried to veer away from comedy. Further saying that he instead focused on making a VR game that was more eerie. "Even going down that road it kept going back to comedy for me," he added. "I'm so drawn to absurd comedy I realized pretty quickly we shouldn't try to do that."

Meanwhile, the teams are now on full work in creating "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Den of Geek reported. In fact, the script for the first episode has even already been teased online.

On Feb. 22, one of the writers of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Mike McMahan, posted a major teaser on his Twitter account. It features the purported official script for the season's first episode. However, for obvious reasons, the title has been redacted.

He did, however, reveal a major update for the production of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. On his caption, McMahan casually informed the fans that the recording for Episode 1 has started. More news about the release date should emerge in the coming months.
