Sony's own TV service is known as PlayStation Vue, and it has been upgraded, just in time for March Madness. PlayStation Vue updates the existing framework of TV streaming and gives existing users a taste at its multi-channel viewing. Up to three live channels can be accessed and viewed by the users.

PlayStation Vue updates have been delivered just before March Madness. This would bring excitement for NCAA basketball fans. NCAA basketball has many streaming channels and are broadcasted all at once. Vue subscribers would have access to CBS, TNT, TBS, and TruTV for the March Madness games.

How does it work? A Sony blog post tells that on the PS3 or PS4 controller, just press X on any live TV program. The live TV channels can be found in the Guide or Live TV row, present on the home screen of PlayStation Vue. By doing this, the new PlayStation Vue update makes a small menu pop up, where viewers can select two or three multi-view screens.

After this, viewers only have to select any other live program from the Live TV row to start viewing multiple TV programs at once. The main screen in the multi-channel viewing would output its own audio unless changed. Moreover, PlayStation Vue updates confirm that channels can be switched by pressing the square button.

The PlayStation Vue updates are available on the PS4 Vue app, but it is yet unconfirmed whether the update will come to other Sony PlayStation devices as well. Moreover, Sony is working hard to bring more sport related content right on the home screen, including real-time scores. This feature can also be toggled off.

PlayStation Vue has been relatively successful after its release on March 2016 across multiple devices. More than 100,000 subscribers have taken up PlayStation Vue. PlayStation Vue also supports Android TV and PCs.
