Taylor Swift has just filed nine trademarks for the word "Swifties." And now, fans are starting to speculate as to what this brand would be. One, in particular, believes it could be an online music streaming service, much like Spotify or Apple Music.

The word "Swifties" was filed on nine separate trademarks by a Nashville-based company called TAS Rights Management, LLC, according to Billboard. One of the trademarks that Taylor Swift filed, as can be seen in the publicly available document, is for a website. It offers "non-downloadable audio recording [and] video recordings."

Judging by this description, the website seems quite similar to how Spotify and Apple Music operates. However, it seems like the music streaming platform is not the only business Taylor Swift wants to focus on with the "Swifties" trademark.

TMZ, the first publication that brought the news to light, stated that Taylor Swift is also planning to expand the brand to other music products. It includes merchandises like guitars, picks, straps, and drumsticks. She is also apparently planning to include organizing retreats, self-guided online courses, and even educational camps.

However, Just Jared has debunked the claim about the online music streaming website made by Taylor Swift. The report noted that the publication's "Taylor sources" stated that this is not actually the case. But it was not entirely specific whether if it was for all the products - including the guitars - or just the online streaming platform. More news about the matter should emerge in the coming weeks or months.

The "Bad Blood" singer, unfortunately, has yet to release any official comment about the trademarked "Swifties" - and its products. That being said, since there is still no word coming from Taylor Swift, fans are advised to take this with a pinch of salt. Importantly, though, it would be wise to view this as nothing but a rumor at the moment.
