'GTA 6' News & Update: Rockstar Games Still Considering Female Lead? Here's What We Know
"GTA 6" is still a game that has yet to be announced to the public, which most times being denied by Rockstar Games on being in development. But this has not stopped fans from finding and digging for clues with regard to the upcoming title.
Rockstar Games, the developer of the chart-topping "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, released the existing "GTA V Online" back in 2013 and it is still one of the most popular video games in the market today. Despite its apparent success, fans are still craving for a sixth game that could break the ice, which many believe might feature a female protagonist, as per Tech Radar.
For many years, Rockstar Games has laid its cards on the table in terms of originality, but not once have they released a female lead in any of their games, especially for the "GTA" series. It was said that they have thought of the idea on more than one occasion, but have not found the right game, place and time to do so, which some fans speculate "GTA 6" on being the best option to do.
Many fans have argued that the female lead could be Eva Mendes, to even be joined by her husband Ryan Gosling as the main characters of the game. Other speculations also involve what players believe to be Easter Eggs around the next game. There have been talks of the next game coming out on 2021, as some players spotted what they claimed to be a tease located in the airport of the game, with another number has the print 2013; the release date of "GTA V."
As per N4BB, there are guesses that "GTA 6" could perhaps don a first person vantage point and could be VR compatible.
