Nintendo Switch E3 2017: Company Teases Huge Plans For New-Gen Console In Upcoming Event
Nintendo has just made it clear that fans should expect to see the company in the upcoming massive annual gaming event E3 2017. To make things more exciting, the United States division of the company has teased the enthusiasts about its plans for the new-generation console Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo of America Chief Executive Officer, Reggie Fils-Aime, has recently appeared on Fox News to deliver the amazing updates earlier in March. On his talk, he noted that E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2017 has always been a big platform for the company. This is why the company has decided to showcase some of its upcoming games at the event possibly including titles for the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, Fils-Aime did not exactly go into full specific details about what fans can expect from the company at E3 2017. He did not even give any hints regarding the titles that will be showcased for the Nintendo Switch. But he mentioned that the Nintendo 3DS will also receive new contents in the coming future, which will be showcased at the event.
Nintendo's General Manager of Entertainment Planning and Development Division, Shinya Takahashi, meanwhile, has teased the same thing for Nintendo Switch. In an interview with a Japanese magazine publication, Takahashi revealed that they are now planning to release new titles that will take advantage of the Joy-Con. But just like Fils-Aime, he also couldn't reveal any specific details, as translated by Nintendo Everything.
So far, though, the only detail that he revealed in the interview was the plan to release out-of-the-box kind of games for Nintendo Switch. According to Nintendo Everything, the Japanese company is planning to release similar IPs (Intellectual Properties) like "Brain Age" on the new-gen console.
More news about the new games for Nintendo Switch should emerge in the coming months. The E3 2017 event is set to open its gates on June 14 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.
