Ahead of tonight's performance show for part one of the season 24 Dancing With The Stars finale, frontrunner Normani Kordei is excited to hit the dance floor as she continues to vie for the title. A recent injury left Kordei's future on the show in jeopardy, but she has since recovered and is hoping to deliver a stellar performance.

"My ankle is actually fine," Kordei said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "It looks really bad. I saw the video back, but luckily I can push through anything and I'm dancing on it."

Kordei's dancing partner and instructor, Val Chmerkovskiy took responsibility for the error that injured her foot.

"It was an ignorant injury on my behalf," Chmerkovskiy described. "We attempted a move that we've never done before and it didn't pay off, clearly."

"I literally [just] did a toe touch. It's like me walking down the street and I roll my ankle," Kordei added.

Hype for Kordei's performances is increasing across the massive Fifth Harmony fanbase. Well wishes have been shared and now all that is left is to wait it out until the show's airing tonight.

Kordei will be competing for the season 24 title against NFL star, Rashad Jennings, and Cubs legend, David Ross. Part one of the finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
