Ryan Gosling Prank Look-alike VIDEO Fools Detroit Fans in Radio Hoax of Doppelganger
Some very excited ladies in Detroit thought they had a chance to meet Ryan Gosling recently.
However, it was just a very convincing prank played by 95.5 FM's Mojo in the Morning. The radio station stumbled across a Gosling look-alike, also known as 'Lyin' Gosling,' and decided to have a little fun.
The real Gosling is currently in the Detroit area helming his first ever production, How to Catch A Monster. So when a man in Goslings signature hoodie and shades made an appearance with a film crew and bodyguards, who else would the unsuspecting fans think it was?
'Lyin' Gosling' turns out to be a tax accountant named Doug, according to The Huffington Post. The doppelganger stopped to take pictures with numerous fans, including a pair of police officers, but never actually said a word reports omg!.
While "Mojo in the Morning" filmed their segment, men and women alike whipped out their smart phones to snap a pic of the supposed Notebook heartthrob in order to show it off to friends and coworkers. Unfortunately, now the would be jealous pals can pull up the footage of the incident and laugh at friends going crazy for no reason.
