KKW Beauty Launches Ultralight Beam Lipgloss And Highlighters
Today is a very special day for beauty lovers. Not only is it the first of the month and last month of the year, but today is the release of the highly anticipated KKW Beauty Ultralight Beams.
This isn't in reference to her husband's latest song, but the new products will pay homage to Kanye West's well-known track.
Kardashian Goes Glittery And Glossy
The reality star, turned beauty mogul teased fans with several photos that she posted on her Instagram earlier this week. One of the photos featured Kardashian completely covered in nothing but glitter from the neck down with the caption, "Ultralight Beam highlighters and glosses launching Dec 1st."
The new Ultralight Beam highlighters are a step up from Kardashian's first highlighter sticks that were released earlier this summer. Kardashian's first highlight sticks featured a matte highlight for brightening without shimmer on one end and a shimmer highlight for a more luminated glow on the other end.
The new KKW Beauty launch will feature five highlighters and five glosses both in glittery iridescent shades. The new collection of highlighters features a series of different shades such as, Opalescent Pearl, Rose Gold, Yellow Gold, Copper, and Bronze.
Notice that there are five pigments and five Kardashian/Jenner sisters. Coincidence? Maybe.
Kardashian has made it clear that the new highlighters are versatile, as they can be applied anywhere from your cheeks to your body.
"I like the bronze and the gold the best," Kardashian admitted to Bustle.
While the glosses are primarily for your lips. Kardashian's pro makeup artist, MakeupByMario, suggests that the glosses can also be used as a cream eyeshadow. The glossy lids trend took over the tail end of 2017 as it became a trending topic once it was seen on fashion runways and social media.
"I love making the highlighters wet and then applying it — it makes it really intense," Kardashian added.
If you look closely to Kardashian's glitzy Instagram photo, her nails appear to have a shimmer. Perhaps, mixing the highlighter powder with a nail polish? Or is this a quick teaser to a potential KKW Beauty nail polish release? Either way, the idea of mixing the highlight powder with your nail polish is sure to make a statement this holiday season.
Both the highlighters and glosses can be purchased as a full set for $160. The matching duos of one gloss and one highlighter retails for $32 each for those that might just want to test the product.
