Bella Hadid Catches Her Stalker Outside Of Her New York City Apartment
Model Bella Hadid recently endured a scary moment outside of her New York City apartment when she laid eyes on the man who has been stalking her.
According to a new report, the 21-year-old model called police in the Big Apple a number of times, beginning at the end of last year, to report that a man had been stalking and harassing her for several weeks. Then, on Thursday, Hadid caught the man lurking around her apartment and was again forced to call the authorities.
On Feb. 8, People magazine contacted the spokesperson for the New York Police Department who informed them that 37-year-old Ryan S. Perez, who had been sending threatening messages to Hadid on social media, had been arrested at 9:35 p.m. last night.
As the report explained, Perez left Hadid “numerous unwanted threatening messages” to her on social media and was ultimately charged with aggravated harassment and stalking. However, at this point in time, it is unknown whether or not he is still behind bars.
Although the incident was certainly scary for Hadid, she didn't let the ordeal keep her from enjoying her night on Thursday and shortly after Perez was believed to have been arrested, she was seen spending time with friends in honor of Samuel Krost's birthday.
On Instagram, Hadid shared a special moment from the event with her fans and followers.
Just last month, Hadid spoke about her personal struggles with anxiety, revealing that she used to become so nervous before taking part in interviews that she would start to shake and cry uncontrollably.
“My sister [Gigi Hadid] is very bubbly and very out there, and I was always very reserved," she explained to People magazine. "I would literally start crying and shaking if I had to do interviews at red carpet events. It was really nerve-racking and it’s scary, and it’s not only you."
Hadid made the comments while speaking about her mother's new Lifetime reality show, Making A Model, which premiered last month.
“It gets a lot better once you have to talk to people every day,” she continued. “Then you’re like, ‘Okay, I guess it’s my job, I have to do it!'”
Hadid has yet to speak publicly in regard to her stalker's arrest and her family, including mother Yolanda, father Mohamed, and sister Bella, have remained silent as well.
