Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Her Relationship With Tristan Thompson
On Tuesday, Feb 13 Khloe Kardashian gave her fans a behind scenes look at her relationship with her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
The mother-to-be took to her app, "Khloe With A K" to explain how she knew Thompson was "the one."
Kardashian stated that she felt comfortable with the NBA player from the start and it didn't take too long for her feelings to flourish.
"I made sure we had very in-depth conversations. I wanted to make sure that those conversations were backed up by actions," the 33-year-old explained.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also revealed that the two connected so quickly because they shared the same principles and morals.
"We spoke about religion, children and our families. I think all of those things are important to truly know the ins and outs of someone," Khloe stated.
The expecting mom further elaborated that energy and chemistry mean a lot to her, because there needs to be a foundation for when the "honeymoon phase" of a relationship is over.
Khloe And Tristan's Love Story
Now that the couple has built their foundation, they are reportedly expecting a child together in April.
This will be Khloe's first child, but the second for Thompson as he already has a 1-year-old son named Prince Oliver from his previous relationship with Jordan Craig.
In September 2017, news broke that the Good American designer was expecting her first child in spring 2018.
However, Khloe waited until December 2017 to confirm the news. She posted a photo of her and Thompson's hands around her growing baby bump.
"My greatest dream realized! We are having baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along," she wrote.
Since confirming the news, Khloe has continuously shared photos of her growing belly on social media. Recently, she posted two photos and revealed that she is currently seven months pregnant.
However, she has not disclosed the gender of her baby. Reports have stated that the Revenge Body star is expecting a boy, but when she shared photos from a dinner party, fans assumed she was having a girl due to the pink color scheme.
The pair began dating in September 2016, after meeting on a blind date in August 2016. While the two never officially confirmed their relationship, Khloe discussed the relationship on Keeping Up With the Kardashians by stating that she was seeing someone. Shortly after, the duo began to post photos of each other on their Instagram accounts.
Sources close to the couple have mentioned that they have always talked about having kids and Khloe is really happy to raise her child with a man that she loves.
